Re: Fully replace all GRUB entries with OS-PROBER results
I would like to remove all GRUB entries, then run update-grub and have only the 3 entries that appear when I run os-prober (attached) as BOOT options. Yes, that is possible. os-prober will only list the other detected installs. So you would not be get an entry for the one you running os-prober in. ...

Re: No Grub Menu
Some questions: Maybe let us know whether you can get "UEFI boot options list" displayed, e.g. by holding F12 key at bootup (POST), and would it list MX Linux to select ? If so, would you get a GRUB menu? Or would it boot straight into MX Linux without displaying the GRUB menu? Also, would...

Re: Conky not reporting sensor temperatures [Solved]
Maybe post the output of these commands:
Code: Select all
sensors
Code: Select all
head /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone?/temp
in order to display the acpi adapter sensor temps.

Re: Upgrade MX21 to MX23 partition problems [Solved]
Have the last snapshot loaded and again am stuck on the partitions with the error as attached. You may want to boot from the Snapshot within UEFI boot mode instead of BIOS-boot (aka MBR/CSM BIOS-legacy). So reboot with the snapshot again and select from Boot Options Menu (F12-key or similar Fn-key)...

Re: Can I boot as non UEFI from snapshot created on UEFI machine [Solved]
Those snapshots were created on UEFI machine. If I burn those snapshots on USB stick, they are not recognised by this machine. (they of course boot in UEFI mode on my main computer just fine) Snasphots-ISO can be boot in both UEFI or BIOS boot mode, regarless what system they made from. I can creat...

Re: Unable to access testing repo via mx package manager in MX19.4 [Solved]
Do you see any error if you do "sudo apt update"? Maybe an outdated MX Packages Installer in use. B/c recent versions do have no issue with "Permanent moved" redirections from http://mxrepo.com to https://mxrepo.com. and also "old" way of having downloading Package.gz ...

Re: How to change Grub menu item description
Good, that it worked. Anway, some comments: Read elsewhere that the correct format of the GRUB_OS_PROBER_SKIP_LIST is GRUB_OS_PROBER_SKIP_LIST=UUID@/dev/???? So, I modified the GRUB_OS_PROBER_SKIP_LIST="B22CF5132CF4D2F9 2C88743C8874071C" To read GRUB_OS_PROBER_SKIP_LIST="B22CF5132CF4D...
