EDIT : Spoke too soon. Right-click > Check for updates does not work (had rebooted). Config is correct since copied from MXRPi where it worked. I ran the User Installed Packages app on 21 and saved the file. After upgrade I ran the app in 23 and selected open a previously saved list and ran the app. It did not install any of the listed items and reported them as unavailable. After following the instructions in the Acer link "change from sata mode to ahci", bootloader now shows up again. No need of "grub>" nor grub "rescue>". I did that change when first installed MX, but didn't notice it had reversed back. Still a lot to learn. I'd like to...
