"have you checked the hd/sd / ram for failure?"
hd/ssd-check: LiveUSB ->Start menu > System > GSmartControl and “Perform tests” on the drive.
ram-check: Stat Memory-Test from LiveUSB Start-Menu or Grub-menu

Re: Help needed to create a custom install set using Horizon (17.1)

I think I have narrowed the problem to ice-ssb links. Arn't ice-ssb's just - what we call in XFCE - URL-desktop.starter (short-cut) icons, just placed into the menu für ease of opening a specific web-(app)-site? Re: mx-package-manager (new MX app)

Yes, D_O's answer is the correct procedure, short and precise - as always :exclamation:

This one is working fine.

Code: Select all

xfce4-session-logout --suspend
Thanks. The wakeup behaves differently to the pm-suspend,
for some laptops it appears the pm-suspend, might do better in

Re: Trying to install via usb and dvd-rw

did you used the same partition for neon as you tried for mx?
have you checked the hd/sd / ram for failure?
any specific info to your hardware, system info, partition layout etc. p.p.
does it run in LiveMODE with and without the usb-ethernet stick?
More info needed to get an idea.

Re: [SOLVED] Multi-line replacing in large text files.

Could you re-phrase your condition for deleting this line-block, to make it clearer. In this instance removing only the Type=0x2800 POI's with the label of MAPCENTRE, leaving the differently labelled POI's with the same type alone. Perhaps, this would then fit to your requirements: # vim multi-line...

Re: Suspend command

What command is actually invoked when Suspend is chosen on the Logout menu? I would like to make my own keyboard shortcut. I have already looked through the entire list of Executable Files. The xfce default would be this xfce4-session-logout --suspend For some users sometimes this command works bet...
