Re: xfwm borders theme

I've asked Tim to move the new Arc themes with thicker borders to main along with a new mx-greybird-themes package with bigger borders, so everyone using those will see fatter borders. 300% better, since 3 pixels wide beats 1 pixel wide by 300%! I suppose I can also add the other Greybird variants ...

Re: MX 18 Does not shutdown/reboot

I have just installed for the first time MX 18 on my PC DELL G3. But I have the problem that the system does not shutdown or reboot.
... You should retry first with the liveCd/liveUsb if it's the case too.

Re: xfwm borders theme

Can someone draft up a Wiki entry for future use so we don't have to send users to find posts in a thread? I'm in NYC for a few days and can do nothing, besides i haven't been involved. Not very easy because some solutions co-exist, Paul summary (even a .svg solution), see her: https://forum.mxlinu...

Re: Increase the resizing space for the windows in XFCE4?

Aha! It was the other rich! Yes. Unfortunately his opendesktop link is no longer available, and I don't have his "sneaky camouflage" version that blends with Greybird. I've downloaded from rich's link when he posted it here in the forum xfwm borders theme . See attached tar-file. Yes, it works grea...

Re: Increase the resizing space for the windows in XFCE4?

Yes, the Debian package uses the arc-theme original source code, which doesn't ship png, xpm, or anything but the text vector image svg files. The build process then uses Inkscape to generate all those other elements during the build, also adapting to whatever version of GTK+3 it's being built agai...

Re: Increase the resizing space for the windows in XFCE4?

Here is a modified version of Arc-Dark Window Manager theme with thicker borders. Name: Arc-Dark-Thick https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TSL-DRbuweFfonX_V-mhPJjPECU_RL6p/view?usp=sharing To test: 1. Download and extract the .tar.gz file to create the folder Arc-Dark-Thick 2. As root, copy the Arc-Da...

Quick and Dirty: I could cut and paste the relevant .xpm files from Doloa wm theme to Arc-Dark...and call it Arc-Dark-Thick
... Will be my default theme as workaround. :number1:
