Oh by the way, the new Midori has not crashed so far, even with 4 tabs open to busy pages. I had just about given up on Midori, but it looks like they may have greatly improved it.

I'm still a Seamonkey fanboy. It does everything both Firefox and Thunderbird does, yet it has thousands fewer lines of code than Firefox! Very responsive on my modest li'l machine.

Planet X was a menace to the galaxy until antiX eliminated the threat. The name stuck anti-planet-X

The oldest and largest of those Federated platforms is Diaspora, which I was on for about three years before it (and Friendica, Social Home, Red Matrix, etc) deteriorated into a digital ghetto. It's not worth the trouble anymore.

You missed a lot! Linux Lite has lots of very cool tools that Xubuntu doesn't. Just like MX has an awesome tool box full of wonderful easy graphical stuff, Linux Lite has a lot of that kinda stuff too. Yup, Lite is not so lite anymore, not like MX which bills itself as "midweight" rather than "Lite." Of the two MX is considerably lighter!
