Re: Suggestion to Add KsuperKey to Repo

Very sly! It's true, vbox messes with modifier keys, nice workaround. And to be honest, launching the menu with the menu key can't be too farfetched - the name says it all.

Re: Suggestion to Add KsuperKey to Repo

Using ksuperkey or xcape allows one to launch the menu with the windows key while still having windows key plus other key combination shortcuts available. Muscle memory from Windows systems, at least for me. Otherwise if you bind the windows key to the menu popup, you can't use the windows key for a...

Re: Suggestion to Add KsuperKey to Repo

Right! Xcape can pretty much do the same thing as ksuperkey, you just have to tell it to. Re: Suggestion to Add KsuperKey to Repo

Code: Select all

xcape -e 'Super_L=Super_L|space'
with whisker menu popup set to Super_L + space bar should do the trick

Re: Whiskermenu edits in gtk-3.0

My favorite difference in the newer versions is a popped up menu behaves better with Alt-Tab keypress - (2.1.6 release I think - https://gottcode.org/xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin/ for changelog) Nice tweak.

Re: Changelog for MX packages?

Oh, i haven't used it in that capacity. Just to have the changelogs display during upgrades. I'd google, check the manpage, see what you can dig up

Re: Changelog for MX packages?

Is there a way to see a changelog for updates such as today's updates to a bunch of MX packages? Synaptic tells me the source doesn't support changelogs. Thanks. Aptlistchanges works with synaptic. Regardless of what synaptic said, you can install and configure apt-listchanges, it will show the cha...
