Re: What browser does everyone use

Haha..Yeah, I know..It's the height of laziness to launch it from the menu with a mouse click and not having to bother pressing the F11 key  I do have in latest basilisk / palemoon and waterfox now a real full-screen without any top-bars/borders by either pressing F11 or Alt+V+F or click 2 ti...

Slightly off-topic, but I thought I'd share this for anyone using a Firefox based browser > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/autofullscreen/reviews/?src=api It allows you to launch the browser in full screen as a default action, and if you also check "hide toolbars", you get maximum a...

Re: Fonts on Featherpad look ugly

Ariel is supposedly the easiest font to read for most folk. I just tried it now, and noticed a little bug. I have English set as my default language, but in the Featherpad "select font" pane, the style description for Ariel is in Croatian. ;)

Re: Browser redirecting to different page ADs

Hi, I have started experiencing an ugly problem. While browsing thru sites all of a sudden a site will be redirected to a page with ADs instead of that particular site. It's happening randomly not related to a specific sites. I tried resetting the firefox but the problem is back. Any clues? It soun...

Re: Just an observation...

Different people like different distros for all sorts of reasons That's very true. Being new to Linux, I tried-out the top five distro's, (with the exception of Debian as it appeared too "old hat" for my liking), from Distrowatch. MX was a sitting at 13th or 14th place in the listings at the time, ...

Re: Keeps failing to connect to wifi

Just a long-shot suggestion, but have you checked that your keyboard default is what you think it is?...I had a situation once, where it defaulted from 102 key to 105 key, and consequently, some of the characters I used in my password were not what I thought they were. It took a bit of head scratchi...
