Re: Panel in full screen #13 Post by PondLife » 10 Nov 2018, 19:27 Thanks fehlix I did not know there were two types of full screen. About 10yrs of using Linux how have I managed to miss this? Plus I presume its the same in Windows which makes matters even worse. So with Alt+F10 the panel works as ...

Re: Panel in full screen

Re: Panel in full screen #4 Post by PondLife » 09 Nov 2018, 19:38 Have tried this with Waterfox full screen and both Intelligently and Always hide set and they work OK for me. Tried messing around with the panel settings but afraid I cannot replicate what you are seeing. MX-17.1_x64 | i3-4360T | 4G...

Re: Panel in full screen

by manyroads » 09 Nov 2018, 19:05 Are you using the xfce4 panel or something like Plank or Docky? Auto-hide can be problematic with the native xfce4 panel if it is set to "Intelligently".... :( If you have it set to "Intelligently" try the "Always" setting. If that doesn't work I'd recommend trying...

Panel in full screen

If I need to pull up something whilst browsing the web, I just mouse over it and it appears, but in full screen mode it's unrespon...

Re: pdf reader for win 7

For the folks I do support, and some indeed still using (or have to) winOS I do recommend : either SumatraPDFreader , which is based on Linux's mupdf ;=) https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/news.html and has the advantage of no javascript execution, which is a securty issue on it's own in this other O...

Re: Waterfox repositories

Genuine question. Am I missing something here guys? Is there a difference between this version of Waterfox and the original ?, because I installed the original from here > https://www.waterfoxproject.org/en-US/waterfox/new/?scene=1 into /opt and have been running it like this since January of this y...
