Re: Firefox - No video with supported format and MIME type found

I don't use Firefox, but apparently, there is now an automatic media blocking capability built-in...More about it here > https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay
Also worth mentioning that the message you quoted sometimes gets shown if the video stream is blacklisted for your country..

Re: Media keys to control media player, eg. play/pause

Irrespective of the make of keyboard, I would have thought it was possible to map any key to most actions in the preferences setting of the audio or video player being used?...Using that method, I have my space bar stop/start a music track in yarock and strawberry, ( Clementine fork), and also in Gn...

What about M.2s? Anyone using them yet? They look like a good candidate for my next build. Silly cheap, too.

Re: The future ?

I only read the free ebooks available from the Gutenberg site which I download to my pc then transfer to Kindle by wire. https://www.gutenberg.org/ Project gutenberg is great. You can also often find the free versions in the Kindle store by adding the word 'free' to the title search. If you read on...

It detai...

Re: MX-18 Screenshots

Gawd, we had all this a while ago with a member who sailed-off to pastures new...You're not him reincarnated are you?. Having the panel/deskbar/toolbar on the left seems a natural position to me, and I've always put it there on any OS I've used, so it was a pleasant surprise to find MX was like-mind...

Re: The Hordes are coming ...

Again and again I see comments about cheap USB sticks, but WHERE do people buy them cheaply? The stores around here in Dorset and Hampshire, UK very rarely stock USB sticks and when they do they're priced at £20 (sterling) or more for a small 8GB stick. That's hard to relate to. On Amazon.com in th...

Re: [Solved] My just updated to Firefox Quantum v65.0.1 (64bit) is very broken

If you have a spare week and want to trawl through the code, all 1.4GB of it, or search through the browser configuration files specifically, you will see that most of what's contained in that link is already implemented as standard in Waterfox. There is a bit of a storm in a tea-cup swirling on tha...
