MX Linux and Devuan
MX Linux and Devuan are just two out of a handful of Linux distros that do not use systemd. Is there any collaboration between the two distros? Thanks.

Yes, I have tried MX Linux. I have it running as a guest OS. Honestly, I think it is one of the best distros out there. I hope that the community continues to grow. Thanks.

There are alternatives to systemd and sysvinit. Such as OpenRC, which is used by FreeBSD (TrueOS) and Gentoo.

Sysvinit Future
I respect MX Linux decision to not use systemd. I haven't had any issues with it on other distros that I use. I have not had any issues with sysvinit as well. Is MX Linux going to stick with sysvinit or has there been some considerations for a replacement other than systemd? Just curious. Thanks.

I found my error. I went to the Package Manager in Control Centre instead of Synaptic. Thanks.

I have installed the xfce desktop. However, I would like to add the Whisker menu plugin. I do not see it listed on the Package Manager. Please advise. Thanks.

I also like distros that have their own implementation of the xfce desktop. I also tried Fedora, Manjaro, Solus, openSUSE, Gecko L...
