I think it might be good for the MX Time Settings GUI to offer the user a warning about setting the hardware clock to local time like the timedatectl command does. @OP: glad you got this fixed but perhaps consider changing your system to UTC. If you're dual booting with Windows then set that to UTC...

Deleting 'firefox' folder inside /.mozilla and starting firefox normally gets back the time in IST.May be some configuration files of firefox went wrong.Thankyou so much all of you. :happy:

So what the differnce in time? And is the system-hardware clock set to UTC?
