4. Appearance
5. Default geometry - set colums and rows

I was told about that limit, but some time ago I set up my drive: sudo fdisk -l [sudo] password for earl: Disk /dev/sda: 1.8 TiB, 2000398934016 bytes, 3907029168 sectors Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes ...

Re: Amateur Radio JS8Call

NevilsStation

I don't have any equipment, but the link you show:

http://files.js8call.com/latest.html

has a 64 bit deb, which I downloaded and clicking on the file installs it through GDebi and it looks like it runs. You don't need to compile it.

Re: pulseaudio - timidity

mmikeinsantarosa Some time ago, fooling around with midi files, I installed timidity and everything with timidity in the name (timidity-daemon, timidity-interfaces-extra). Everything was working fine, until I tried to update music packages in the test repo. Then pulseaudio didn't see the (sound card...

pulseaudio - timidity

I posted about a sound problem I was having after updating several things from the test repo. I thought the update of timidity was causing the problem, but it turns out to be the timidity-daemon. I deleted that and reinstalled and updated timidity and everything is working. There seems to be some tr...

Re: audio trouble

The update from the test repo of timidity
from 2.13.2
to 2.14.0-8
was what messed up everything.
I deleted timidity, then had to go through resetting default sinks etc. for pulseaudio, then installed the old timidity.
Things seem to be back to my "normal".

audio trouble (SOLVED)

I was messing around and probably updated too many things from the test repo. When audio was working properly the pulseaudio volumn control > configuration showed 3 profiles: GK107 HDMI Audio Controler Webcam C270 Built-in Audio and I could play from my computer speakers. Now pulseaudio volumn contr...
