Nvidia 390.77 manual intall:

antiX 4.16.13 and debian 4.9.110-3+deb9u3 are ok

4.17.17 (test repo) gives blank screen

Actually I don't remember any issues with antiX recent kernels (64bit). They worked with number manually installed nvidia video drivers.

UPDATE: In the meantime I did intensive testing on the SIP part of Ring . The bottom line is: Whatever I do, I don't get it to connect with a fairly standard provider-operated SIP account.
