Looks like I never noticed that my second to last post went to another page and I have no idea how to delete it. Sorry about that.

Re: wrong password ate 2nd panel

Thanks to all who replied to my post but I am going to abandon this for now. The second panel had nothing significant about it and I guess I can rebuild it easily enough. The file mentioned had no entry for "panel-2' at all - I assume it only gets in there if I had actually backed the panels up...

Re: wrong password ate 2nd panel

Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions. It's been interesting and I learned a thing or two (have backed up the panels on my other box now). Did not see a mention of "panel-2" in the file mentioned; maybe that would only be in there if I had backed up this box. That panel was just a...

Re: wrong password ate 2nd panel

How would you start trouble shooting this? What about looking into config files? It's not a huge deal but I'd like to know what happened? Also maybe I should submit a bug report? Thanks.

Install GRUB on USB stick

Hi all. Not sure where to go with this question so I'm trying here. I have MX19, Mint and Win7 installed (on one machine - 19, Mint and Win10 on another) and will be trying out BSD (probably Nomad). Can I install the grub boot menu to an otherwise empty USB stick? This is so without the stick there ...

Re: MX19 Trouble Installing New Kernel

So inxi -S still shows the old kernel after a reboot.
