2 xfce check boxes in MX package installer
Why are there 2 xfce check boxes in the MX package installer ?
Under desktop environments, the bottom xfce checkbox shows
installed, the top one is not.
Is there a difference between the two ?

Re: tile 3 apps
There seems to be 2 apps that can be used to tile windows within xfce.
They are Shinglify and xpytile, but they are not in the MX regular repositories.
Nor are they in the backports or testing repositories.
Not really sure if they are actual apps or xfce add ons.
How can I add them to xfce ?

Re: Can't install MX23
Just create a small (say 256 MiB) fat32 formatted partition and flag esp (and boot while you're at it) ... then during installation select /boot/efi for that under "Use For" column... (attention: not /boot , that one is for a separate boot partition, not ESP / EFI etc..) Sorry, but I don'...

I have a desktop that has 2 drives; a platter drive designated as /dev/sda that has 2 partitions on it. One for snapshots and one for data backup. The other drive is a SSD that has 3 distros installed on it; MX21-3, Peppermint, and Sparky. There is 60Gb of unused space on the drive. I created an ext...

Text editor with print preview
Does anyone know of a linux text editor (the simpler, the better) that has print preview ?
I have tried quite a few, and none of the ones I tried has print preview.
