$ lsmod | grep rtl8188 it is not showing any error or message when i issued this command It should return the name of the driver if it is loaded. Showing nothing means it is not. Well that's not it. So it's not being seen at all. Can you get the device's specs (brand, model, mac address, etc.) from the Windows side? Once you have that, you can do a web search on 'Linux <that info>" or "Debian <that info>" to see the support situation. These are the details ob...
