What would cause it to not be recognized, please?

I'd like to have the option to use the internal or an external monitor (hdmi) When I try to use disper from Terminal I get this error: "Segmentation fault" Why would that be and what do I need to do to fix it, please? disper - to control external monitor - seg fail

I'd like to have the option to use the internal or an external monitor (hdmi)

The new versions appear to have solved the problems of the older ones & are working fine.

I am told by the package maintainer that the versions of fldigi and flrig in the MX repository (fldigi 3.23.14 and flrig 1.3.26) are over 2yrs old. I cannot get support on their forum as no one still uses those versions. Is it possible to update to: fldigi-4.0.17 flrig-1.3.39 I need to use these for...
