But isn't Linux Mint using like a generic driver ? It detected 2 scanners on the network without having to do anything. A Brother and the Xerox and they both work. Stevo said to show him how it's doing it and it's WSD protocol.

Well I have tried Document Scanner and gscan2pdf. It doesn't see any scanners. I'll try Skanlite to see if it makes any difference.

MX KDE has something called document scanner but it looks just like simple scan. Maybe itś the same ? Would the printer-scanner be listed on Mint specs if I paste them here? Let me know the command or process. I have a Mint Matte iso
