Thanks. Have used simple-scan and found it to be a good tool especially in the size of files it produces. Gscan2pdf is usable as long as clean up images is not selected but the reason for the post is to highlight the bug which in theory was resolved in 2016 and to find out how to report it. Sounds,...

It might not be a help for your software problem, but try Simple-Scan, it has scan photo or text option and single page or feeder. it is a great tool to scan and you also can save you scannes as PDF.

I have my shared folder as just "share" in my home folder. I then set my guests to use that as the shared folder, it says it's also "Automount" with "Full" access. In the guest, the "groups" command shows that I am a member of the "vboxsf" group, but I don't have to be a member of that in the host....

ehm, hu eah I am not too sure how to say it... but you got me there ;-)

I have it running as guest using VirtualBox and set it up to be Debian X64 the shared folder is setup as automount but this has never worked on any Linux Distro.

Viber didn't get their deb format quite right, so gdebi chokes on it. Download the deb, open a terminal in the folder it's in and install it with sudo dpkg -i viber.deb Thank you very much for your help. Hi there,

I am in need of your help again.

I tried to install Viber in MX17 and got the topic headline error message when I try to install the viber.deb file with gdebi installer.
