Re: Translation of "compiled-in"

So, the concept is the default is compiled simultaneously with the system, if I got it right. Can I translate it as "integrated" or "included"?

[Solved] Translation of "compiled-in"

I'm translating the encryption part recently included in the gazelle installer. Searched quite a bit but couldn't get a sound understanding of what "complied-in" means in the string «A value of 0 selects the compiled-in default (run cryptsetup --help for details).» so that I can make a transl...

Re: MX Distro for "not new" users

Even the upgrade from XP to Windows 10 was a nightmare. It looks like it's not a Windows vs Linux issue, than. We've finally got it sorted out but, man! Wouldn't you manage to sort out a change to an user friendly Linux distro like MX, as well? I trust you would. Just give people the same time they...

Re: How privacy conscious is the MX community?

But yeah.. you know what I mean.. the "big fish" out there don't care about little me. Eadwine, the big fish out there care about everything they can grab. Not about you, not about me, not about any little fish in particular, but about the use they may give to the info about internet/phone usage by...

Re: Distrowatch reveiw grumbles

Thus, from these small flames sprang the great conflagration now known as the great Distrowatch rating wars of 2019. Many were the fanbois that lost their innocence in that conflict, many were the distros that were unfairly trashed and died before their time, and the Linux world ended up even more ...

Re: Distrowatch reveiw grumbles

It's a known fact that not everybody can deal healthily with other people's success... Besides the above shown transcriptions there are also these: Version: 18 Rating: 2 Date: 2019-01-02 Votes: 32 Only another Xfce distro with some extra tools. There's no need to make such a big excitement. Xfce lay...
