ISP is Telstra, mobile broadband only, Netgear Nighthawk modem, it's performance has been questionable since purchasing but mostly works ok, all internet stuff works fine except sending emails to recepients other then herself.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought too, email must pass via the ISP servers regardless whether the recepient's domain is the same as the senders or different. I will advise her to check the webmail of her account to confirm this, both addresses are using POP3. As these arrogant so-and-so's ...
