Re: Firefox tweak for SSD's

FYI, units for "browser.sessionstore.interval" is milliseconds. Here's a reference: https://www.ghacks.net/2008/07/09/change-the-session-store-interval-in-firefox/ a value of 100000 ~= 100seconds If a 10min interval is your goal, specify a value of 600000 (10min x 60sec X 1000ms)

Re: MX-16 issue: Super low performance and CPU governor / frequency issues on DELL 3150 (Silvermont / Bay Trail-M)

The toram option provides speedier access to the rootfs content (noticeable when launching large programs, like LibreOffice) throughout your livesession. The rootfs content is read-only, so toram is unrelated to rootfs data integrity... but enables you to unmount+eject the media (ala "Tails Lin...

Re: MX 15 Repository: The palemoon thread

any idea what's wrong here? The parser expects xml (er, "xul") content. You just need to remove the extraneous (copypasted?) square-bracket "bbcode" tags, like so <!-- This Source Code Form is subject to the terms of the Mozilla Public - License, v. 2.0. If a copy of the MPL was...

Re: QupZilla 2.1.2 64bit

Searching for qupzilla bug reports is more easily done via google than trying to use github's damfangled searchbox site:github.com inurl:issues site:github.com inurl:issues qupzilla certificate FWIW, filtering on "Past Year" yields 1 matching search result https://www.google.com/#q=inurl:i...

Re: IS their a way to get rid of the Icon picture and just leave the text.

Rox pinboard does not offer a "text-only" option for pinboard icons. As you may have already discovered, rox does, however, provide that option for icon objects displayed within the rox panel . You could (and I personally do) adopt the habit of dragging items to the panel, never (or only r...

Re: How switch back from Gnome to xfce?

You managed to install gnome desktop into antiX17? When I attempted that, it was impossible (due to pinned packages).

If so, you're a trailblazer, you are exploring corners that no one has yet tested (and few likely will).
Starting from scratch and reinstalling might be your best option.
