Re: Help with Grub Customizer not Saving Configurations Correctly

configfile /sourcing ... grub.cfg : This loads into the current running grub another grub-menu (grub.cfg). The difference: As long as you have similar grub-versions this appear to behave identical. ... configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg ... It's quite simple "configfile" means to stick with the example...

Re: Slow transfer speed from NAS (SMB, CIFS, SFTP...)

trials as an example

Code: Select all

scp -r -p -v /media/windows male@192.168.178.36:/media/DATEN
and back (if necessary)

Code: Select all

scp -r -p -v male@192.168.178.36:/media/DATEN/windows /media
that means
-r recursive
-v verbose
-p Time stamp of the files is preserved

I did that with 17GB. Duration 26:24 minutes

Re: Conky Helps and Stuff

I think I have found the error. ;) The reason for the freezing is the too small window of the base Conky. The responsible parameters are in the original: minimum_height = 5, minimum_width = 5, maximum_width = 500, I changed that. minimum_width = 500, minimum_height = 0, --maximum_width = 500, To mak...

Re: Conky Helps and Stuff

Okay. Okay. We can continue the game indefinitely. ;) With me nothing freezes with the two Conky's. They run correctly. No one "obstructs" the other. :exclamation: However, I still don't know what @eadwine has changed in the configuration of the weather conky. That's why this is like "breadless art"...

Re: Conky Helps and Stuff

@eadwine most important changes for both Conky's to run on your system are (this must be the same): :exclamation: own_window_type = 'normal', and no_buffers = true, Here's your system conky with these changes (small things to make it run on my system are commented out. Compare your original). conky....
