I think it's not very fruitful to insist on using the mirror geographically closest to you, if you already know it's flaky or takes longer to sync with the main mirrors. Why not just choose a reliable, respectably-fast, quick-syncing mirror even if it's far away? For instance, if the HK mirrors had...

Checked again at 140310Z still getting 404 on main for x64 and 386, still it is better than the old Tauranga mirror it does not yet know that
that update exists.

At 23.50 UTC Sunday, the new Christchurch mirror is reporting 404's for latest MX update. Will try again in a few hours.

2.94 is in the Test Repo because it may h ave bugs. 2.92 in the main has been checked. If you go for 2.94 and find bugs please post
a note to the forum. That is why we have a Test Repo, we cannot expect the Packaging Team to do all the tests on new or updated
applications.

That is odd. Have just tested the MXPI search here and there are no delays on any of the options. Were all 8 computers installed with MX18
from the one source i.e. a usb drive ?

Chris You have only beaten the gun by a couple of days and this thread may well continue into next week.

I very rarely user hibernation but agree that 2 gb swap may be inadequate for the ever increasing size of memory and the temptation to
resultant temptation to work with many tabs open.
