Re: Apt Repositories

That's nice. But I personally do not wish to be bound by another organization's rules, no matter what the content. Especially as I have no say in their content, present or future.

I'd rather put my trust in the good sense and experience of the moderators and admins of the forum and project.

Re: Problems with big December package update

I have not seen any problems here since the update. This machine does not have Firefox installed but that may be irrelevant.

HI Joe, that is good that you have it sorted. Fully agree about the MX stability, that's one of the reasons I am still here.

@ berg. That is lengthy list to uninstall, have you accidentally activated the Test Repo? It should not be left activated.

Re: Installing MX Linux on my laptop

@ nomko With a similar set up to yours, used gparted to divide the ssd as root 30gb home 65 gb and put swap into remaining space. There's information about Gparted and a link to the Gparted Manual in the MX User Manual.

Re: MX Linux is in 3rd place

Hi nomko, I can understand your request. However this DW report is a new one. Yes MX was up to #3 in October, but then dropped down the list, This post is new one with MX climbing up again but regrettably the reporter used the same subject line. My own opinion of these listings is that they are unre...
