Re: Cleanest Desktop Environment and theme for MX?

I fully agree with JayM's comments. Take the time to learn and understand MX before attempting to make changes. For me, MX is a tool and I do not really care how it looks, provided that I can find my way around and get things done.

Re: Notre Dame on fire :(

The bells are going to recast - not sure if that was already planned - but those bells are not too old, during the French Revolution Notre Dame's bells
were melted down to make cannon balls

Re: Wacom graphics tablet mapping?

A slow reply with an apology. The MX Test Repo contains new updates and packages compiled by the Packaging Team. Programme packages are usually left in Test until any bugs may have appeared or problems found by users. If proved OK a package may then be moved to the Main Repo where all have normal ac...

Re: Who is using SSD's?

Both my old desktops were converted to SSD as sda last year. Have retained a spinning drive in each for data. The noticeable speed difference is between them, the older machine with a ASUS board has an Intel Duo E7500 CPU. The second computer, a Dell Optiplex, with an Intel four core i5-3470 CPU, ru...

Re: MX 17 Repository: The GIMP Thread

Agree with that Stevo. Both 10.8 and 10.10 work well, it's easy enough to upgrade from Test repo for anyone wanting the latest.

Does kde-config-tablet in the test repo do anything?
Hey Steve, I'd love to explore this option. What is the "test repo"? I tried this at the command line now and the command wasn't recognised.
Have you looked at the MX Manual for Test Repo info' ?
