Virtual Box will mount it, and more.
A live USB is a more common scenario that MX Live USB Maker manages well.
It's all about what you want to do with that iso?

Re: What killer feature(s) would the MX devs love to implement?
Will it have a completely new, 'simpler' start menu and widgets? You DO know that you can change all that to your liking, right? But of course, which makes is so much better than dealing with the current MS offering I've had the misfortune of helping a couple of new users with recently :h...

Re: Moodle on MX
I believe there is a wims-moodle in the MX repos's ... is that the same thing? This looks like a plugin for a particular server function. How works the plugin: You must know that the WIMS classroom is created and maintained from the Moodle server. If you log in Moodle as teacher, then you will have...

Moodle on MX
Nobody talks about Moodle, from what a search tells me. I've been tinkering with Moodle on W10 this week, and have no great issue unpacking and setting up via a localhost webpage, with a tiny edit of one file, but without an actual server, setting up anything but Admin as a user is proving frustrati...

Re: Why use OpenDocumentFormat over MS Office formats?
The other thing that makes PDFs so useful is that any font face you include is embedded, so there is no risk that the recipient might lack that font and have a text document display in unintended ways. PDF format has been a standard for things like media releases and similar documents for quite some...

Re: Single or Double click?
I prefer double click as I often work with files and regularly open applications just by clicking the associated file type. However, what about touch screens? They are single tap..... Nobody seems to mention tapping.......or voice commands..... now that would be really painful... if you had to doubl...

Re: Creating a data partition before installing MX-23
Little side note: after clicking the NTFS partition, do check if it is set to ntfs-3g, otherwise it will be read only. Yep, I've had that happen occasionally. The simple solution is to open Disk Manager and change it from ntfs unknown to ntfs-3g. I think a reboot might also be needed to be recognis...

Re: User information [Solved]
I still use a .face file for this. One I created ages ago. It's there as a hidden file so I just need to show hidden files to copy it over to my user directory in a new install, for it to appear in the whisker menu. I'm guessing About Me just makes all this easy now and creates something similar. I'...
