Re: MX Linux Distrowatch #1
While not accurate it has to mean something about a distro staying in the public eye. I remember when Mint was at the top for ages, before that Ubuntu. Debian in general has seen a resurgence in popularity and that has likely aided MX. Google has Debian as default on Chromebooks via Crostini. Ubuntu...

Re: I see Bullseye has been released
It's a 2.3GB download for the XFCE live ISO. That is a big one. Double the size of the Devuan Beowulf XFCE live ISO, and an extra 700mb over MX19.4. Seems a bit bloaty. Thankfully storage media is dirt cheap now, at least in the US. I saw 128 gb usb stick at Walmart for $20 the other day. Takes lon...

Our weather here in the U.S. Midwest has been hazy all week due to the fires.

Re: Dedoimedo on MXLinux KDE
In fact, debian-backports has never backported any version of KDE, and other desktops very, very rarely. The only one I know of was a backport of Mate for stretch repos. I remember that with MATE. After that update from backports in Stretch my OS was broken :( There is a reason Debian is cautious a...

Re: MX 19.2 KDE configured
Very Nice :)
I don't think people realize how much KDE can be configured in a variety of ways.

Re: Dedoimedo on MXLinux KDE
Guy seemed in a bad mood from the start, and perhaps has burned out on Linux. The small font thing has always been an issue with kde. Not really surprising. It's the first thing I change. For me MX KDE scratches a nostalgia itch, but more than that--it works great and offers a nice alternative to th...

Re: MX 19 Repository: The Cinnamon Desktop Thread
Once quickly installed on my craft installation, everything seems to work. It has panel window previews and a nice window overview that set it apart from many other desktops. But it is also a big resource hog, 900mb initial ram requirement for me. My first desktop was at Linux Mint, but for me pers...

I hope it cools down for you soon Stevo.
I think I saw earlier on the news that Boulder, Colorado will be 99 degrees, and a few days later 35 degrees and a winter storm watch. What is going on with the weather lately?

It should work on Buster. LMDE 4 uses Cinnamon 4.6.7.
