Thanks. I have usb1 thru 4.
I have set all to "on" as well.
After deleting and reinstalling the printer, it now shows as device 007 - previously it was 006.

Re: Printer goes offline
Feeling a little embarrassed... Using MX's Print Settings, I removed the printer from the system, and had MX re-find and install it. Seems to work for now - I'll wait for a day before I mark it solved. With regard to the drum, no it has not been changed. There is a "Drum" indicator light o...

Re: Printer goes offline
Thanks for your reply. I failed to mention that this printer/pc combo has been working together for years. This behaviour started after a recent move. Initially the printer worked in its new location, but went offline after a time. A pc reboot restores function, but only for a while. My usb power st...

Re: MX19.4 no internet [Solved]
Yes, two ways. there is a resolv.conf file in /etc which contains your current DNS entries. add one to this file. (This file is generated by network manager when you connect to your network - and other apps can play with this file. ) The better way, is to use the Advanced Network connection in the ...

MX19.4 no internet [Solved]
I have an MX19.4 machine that has stopped connecting to the internet. It connects to my router, other machines connected to the router get on-line no problem. When I boot the offending machine from the MX19.4 live USB stick, it gets online no problem, so I think that would eliminate a hardware probl...

Re: enquire for firefox lates version on mx16
I've been using this method to update FF on my MX18 machine. I got up to 111.0.1 before I ran in to unmet dependencies. Time to move on to MX21 it seems.....or, how far away is MX23?

21.3 will be going on another machine soon - it's still running 18.3!Huckleberry Finn wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 10:15 am Wouldn't you like to install 21.3 which's mature now ? You can keep your home folder either manually or select "preserve" during installation.
