Tried with the mx installer and synaptic.
Getting the following error.

Thank you for the replies. I tried disabling all of the add-ons but did not change the problem. I then changed the thunderbird preference from firefox (default) to always ask. When the option appeared to select firefox and open link I used that and it opened in Firefox. For some reason this action h...

Thunderbird 52.7 not opening links

Since the recent update the links within emails http and https will not open. This does not effect jpegs or pdfs. The thunderbird preferences are set to use firefox (default). Any suggestions please.

KeypassX works for me and have had no trouble entering user names and passwords. Also can be used in Android.

I would say it is only logical that it is a faster tool if it compresses less. More efficient compressing requires more time. Personally.. compression should be proper compression. Not a half half solution that still leaves a big file. Might as well then copy it straight without compressing things....

OK, 0.6.6 is in the test repo. If you are still having trouble, can you reset the config by renaming ~/.config/variety to see if that helps? Have updated to the new version but the problem still exists. Variety will eventually load but looking at the log file there appear to be a lot of errors. Not...
